“Just keep breathing.”
I’m a yoga fanatic. Vinyasa, Ashtanga and sometimes bigram yoga are my favorite yoga sessions.
I follow a class at least every other day and I love doing yoga outdoors during the summer. This, of course, is easy to do. You take your yoga mat, put on a fancy yoga outfit and go to a beautiful spot in town. But, to be honest, I don’t feel as comfortable on my own (yes, even me) as I do in a group.
Fortunately, I’ve found some fun classes for an outdoor session. When you’re in Paris you should definitely take an outdoor yoga class. Experiencing Paris in a downward facing dog will give you a whole new perspective on the city.
Yogateau organizes outdoor yoga sessions regularly, but they also do a lot of other fun stuff.

On Sundays, if the weather is good, you can follow a class in the Jardin d’Eole. Meeting point at the entrance of the rue Aubervilliers at 10.10 AM and class starts at 10.30 AM. Don’t forget to bring your own yoga mat!

Also check the website meetup.com. Here you can find outdoor yoga sessions throughout the whole city.
And if you do have the guts to roll out your yoga mat for an early yoga session, go to one of these lovely places:
Parc des Buttes Chaumont.
This beautiful park with a lake, temple and a cave has also an amazing view over the city.
Address: 1 Rue Botzaris, 75019 Paris
In this park, once painted by Monet, you’ll find a pyramid and Roman colonnade for an extra dimension during your session.
Address: 35 Boulevard de Courcelles, 75008 Paris
Close to the Eiffel tower. It’s a great chance to see the ‘Iron Lady’ from upside down.
Address: 2 Allée Adrienne Lecouvreur, 75007 Paris
